Aakriti Saraf Design is an interior design firm based in Bangalore that specialises in residential and commercial projects, from homes to offices and retail stores. We work in close collaboration with each of our clients to create a unique space that is functional, elegant and reflects their personality–entirely fit for its purpose.
With a modern sensibility, ASD’s design language boasts clean, straight lines. We combine sustainability with the functional aspects of our clients' lifestyles, borrowing ideas from vintage trends reinterpreted in fresh, contemporary ways. Our detail oriented design process favours a warm colour palette to help create unpretentious spaces that are warm and welcoming.
ASD was founded by the interior design Aakriti Saraf, who lives and works in Bangalore.
About Aakriti Saraf
Aakriti Saraf started ASD after working with a number of architecture and interior design practices in Mumbai and Bangalore. She began her career interning with Noser Wadia, after which she worked as part of a design cell with Ajit Shilpi and then moved to Bangalore. Aakriti has experience in conceptualising a wide range of projects, including homes, offices, showrooms and outdoor spaces. Her work has been featured in various publications like Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Vogue and Good Homes, to name a few.
About her design sensibility and work ethic, Aakriti says:"My design includes clean straight lines, and is functional and low-maintenance. It showcases modern sensibilities coupled with soft and warm colour detailing. I work in close collaboration with my clients to craft a collaborative space that is entirely fit for its purpose, elegant and refined—a space that is designed to radiate warmth and a cocooning feel.”
Aakriti is also the co-founder of lovepeaceart, an art expressions company that creates custom wall panels, wallpapers, artworks and furniture. She studied Interior Design at Rachna Sansad Institute of Design in Mumbai.
