Before we designed Johar Group’s office, it was important for us to see how they worked and interacted with each other and their clients. They wanted an open plan workspace with lots of light and greenery to encourage creativity and community. ASD designed a functional and inspiring space within their budget and timeline.

We opted for a neutral colour palette and used a variety of materials like glass, wood and metal, to create layers with different textures. We searched far and wide for the right shade of blue to match the Johar Group branding and introduced some colour throughout the office to help create a cohesive look and feel throughout the space.

Glass whiteboards serve as multipurpose partitions throughout the office and allow easy accessibility to project plans. Each workstation is equipped with storage trolleys, writing boards and pin boards that were budget-friendly, and most importantly, ergonomic chairs. The cabin doors feature hand-painted wooden doorknobs, painted by the Johars’ kids. The informal meeting room has a glass table and Tames-inspired acrylic chairs that create a more casual setting. Rahul’s cabin features a mid-century modern desk and monochrome wallpaper.
